Hi, I’m Dominique!

Pronouns: she/her

My mission is to help you build a solid foundation from which you can grow and flourish through holistic and individually-tailored mental health services. That's why I created Terra Firma Healing. Whether you’re seeking clarity, resilience, or a deeper connection with yourself, I’m here to support you in creating meaningful change.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I value a strengths-based, person-centered approach to treatment. We don’t exist in isolation, and we don’t heal in isolation, which is why I work with my clients from a systemic framework. I also believe in a mind-body approach to therapy. Our body provides us with data and I support my clients to become more in tune with that sensory information.

I received my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Denver, where I also received a certificate in Animal Assisted Social Work. I have an eclectic therapeutic style and will incorporate EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), parts work, and mindfulness into our work together. I specialize in complex trauma, anxiety, depression, perfectionism, and navigating boundaries with complicated family systems. I am a sex positive therapist and work with individuals of varying sexualities, genders, and relationship orientations. I have a background in dance and enjoy working with dancers and athletes. I have also worked extensively with individuals on the autism spectrum.

Research consistently highlights the therapeutic relationship as one of the most significant factors contributing to therapy success, which is why I'd also like to share a little about myself on a personal level. I live in the Denver area with my spouse and our senior chiweenie, Coco. In my free time, I enjoy reading, gaming, seeing live music, spending time in nature, or checking out a group fitness class. My own therapeutic journey started when I was 18 years old, and I saw several therapists before I found the right fit for me. I'm so grateful for my years in therapy and I look forward to playing a role in your journey of growth.
